I guess you could say we have similar taste…Kate and I that is. Kate found a lovely man named Tyler and located this beautiful gem of a venue in Rockton, Illinois called Orchard Ridge Farms and Pavilion.
I too found myself a lovely man named Tyler and got married at Orchard Ridge Farm and Pavilion a little over 5 years ago.
I think Kate and I made a good match as partners to create their perfect wedding invitation. Her Tyler was a huge help in the process and helped us narrow things down and adding input on the watercolor elements! I love when both people are involved in the process. It feels like it is both of their vision this way and really makes it even more of a special piece to their big day.
They knew they wanted a watercolor painting of The Pavilion. So we did that! Together we got the right angle and view that seemed just right to them! From there we brainstormed other watercolor elements to create for the other pieces of stationery. They wanted artsy and rustic, but still elegant. What we came up with is truly beautiful.
Kate and Tyler were an absolute joy to work with and I loved how they worked together to make decisions! You guys are going to have a wonderful marriage and I am so happy that you picked The Art in Tara to be a small part in your very big day. You guys were easy going, kind, understanding (as I pushed up a few deadlines since I was about to have my baby any day while working on final pieces) and so much fun to get to know!
